Manufacturing Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $169,000–$208,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own manufacturing engineering for chassis fabrication, including processes that turn steel into module frames.
• Develop routings, work instructions, fixtures, and cycle times for weld-heavy fabrication.
• Launch new production lines and product revisions, owning PFMEAs, capability runs, and ramp curves.
• Improve yield and cost by reducing scrap, rework, and cycle time through weekly data analysis.

Requirements

• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in heavy fabrication or weldment production.
• Experience launching fabrication lines or major process changes to production rate.
• Ability to write practical work instructions for operators.
• Experience running PFMEAs that identify and predict real production failures.
• Demonstrated success reducing cycle time on optimized manufacturing processes.

Nice to have

• Depth in welding processes.
• Fixture design experience.
• Tekla or CAD fluency.
• Experience with takt-based production systems.
