Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $184,000 – $224,000

What you will do

• Own the Quality Management System (QMS), inspection plans, and first-pass yield metrics.
• Build and maintain control plans, inspection points, and non-conformance report (NCR) flows.
• Lead inspection teams and foster a quality-first culture among production crews.
• Hold final authority on shipment releases to ensure all products meet specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading quality in fabrication or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Experience standing up or overhauling a QMS that passed external scrutiny.
• Strong proficiency in root cause analysis using 8D or equivalent methodologies.
• Ability to make critical shipment decisions under schedule pressure.
• Must be based in Phoenix, AZ.

Nice to have

• ISO 9001 implementation experience.
• Knowledge of weld quality and CWI interface.
• Experience with supplier quality and measurement systems analysis.
