Head of Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Must be based in Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $229,000 – $255,000

What you will do

• Own all aspects of production at the Phoenix factory, including output, quality, cost, and safety across all shifts.
• Lead and scale the production team from the initial ramp crew to a full workforce.
• Implement and maintain a daily management system, including tiered meetings and actionable escalations.
• Drive production ramp-up to meet unit-per-week targets while simultaneously improving first-pass yield.
• Develop supervisors and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in Phoenix, AZ or willing to work onsite.
• Proven experience running production in heavy manufacturing, such as fabrication, assembly, or industrial products.
• Demonstrated success leading teams through a production ramp or facility launch.
• Strong background in daily management systems and operational discipline.
• Ability to balance safety and output requirements effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience in startup environments or greenfield plant launches.
• Background in weld and steel operations.
• Deep knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
