Business Analyst - Power/Energy - Aligne Specialist (Power/Energy)

Location: Houston, Texas; hybrid with at least 3 days onsite per week

Salary: USD $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the transition from FIS Aligne to Orchestrade and provide day-to-day production and operational support.
• Act as a liaison between front-office trading desks, middle-office risk management, back-office accounting, and IT delivery teams.
• Troubleshoot system, process, and data issues and escalate complex incidents.
• Maintain reference data, configuration items, functional specifications, and system documentation.
• Coordinate UAT activities, defect tracking, stakeholder workshops, project tasks, requirements, and status updates.
• Support business analysis, validation activities, training materials, and user documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on configuration, implementation, or major upgrade experience with FIS Aligne.
• Deep knowledge of North American power, natural gas, NGL, renewable, or refined product markets.
• Experience with UAT coordination, defect tracking, data analysis, troubleshooting, and system validation.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Visa sponsorship is available only through treaty-based TN and E-2 visas for eligible Canadian, Mexican, and French citizens; H-1B sponsorship or transfers are not supported.
