Outreach Officer

Location: Warsaw, Poland; regular travel within the project’s target regions is required.

Compensation: 9,000 PLN per month

What you will do

• Plan and deliver multi-channel outreach through online registration, field activities, information sessions, local events, workshops, and community activities.
• Represent the project at community events and job fairs to recruit eligible foreign nationals across the target regions.
• Handle enquiries, explain the project, screen candidates, register participants, and refer them to the diagnosis and Individual Action Plan process.
• Maintain accurate participant records in KOBO and CommCare, including professional situation, Polish language level, residency status, and employment barriers.
• Track recruitment and service delivery progress, contribute data to monitoring dashboards, and support data quality.
• Coordinate with project partners, identify recruitment risks, agree corrective actions, and maintain a reserve list of eligible candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, migration studies, social work, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in outreach, recruitment, community engagement, customer-facing, or call-center work.
• Experience with migrant, refugee, or foreign-national communities in Poland is highly valued.
• Fluency in Polish, Ukrainian, and/or Russian is required for communication with the project’s target population.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and data-entry skills, with cultural sensitivity and respect for confidentiality.
• Willingness to conduct field visits, engage by phone, and travel regularly within the target regions.

Nice to have

• Experience in the humanitarian, development, or NGO sector.
• Familiarity with KOBO, CommCare, or similar participant registration and case-management systems.
• Knowledge of the Polish labour market, residency and legalization procedures, or local labour-market institutions such as PUP, MOPS, and JST.
• English language skills.
