AI Ops Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, United States; ability to work onsite at corporate or client offices as necessary.

What you will do

• Design and build LLM-powered and agentic AI solutions for enterprise Infrastructure & Operations use cases.
• Develop domain-specific AI agents, MCP integrations, tool-calling capabilities, and Python backend services using REST APIs.
• Integrate the platform with ServiceNow/CMDB, Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Build data pipelines and implement RAG and grounding strategies for structured and unstructured operational data.
• Develop workflows for incident triage, root cause analysis, infrastructure discovery, Help Desk automation, and controlled self-healing.
• Implement guardrails, access controls, human-in-the-loop patterns, AI evaluation, observability, and reusable production engineering standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience, including modern AI engineering and software, integration, data, infrastructure, or AIOps foundations.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience building production-quality backend services and RESTful API integrations.
• Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector retrieval, RAG, and agentic or multi-agent frameworks.
• Experience or strong understanding of MCP, function/tool calling, agent registries, AI orchestration, and AI coding assistants such as Devin or Windsurf.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT and infrastructure platforms, ITSM, incident management, observability, monitoring, infrastructure telemetry, or AIOps.
• Understanding of AI safety, data governance, security, access control, grounding, hallucination mitigation, and responsible AI principles.
