Location: London, UK; hybrid policy requires staff to be in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time

What you will do
- Conduct investigations and behavior-based threat assessments across geopolitical, security, and enterprise risk areas.
- Research global threats including terrorism, crime, activism, nation-state targeting of the AI sector, and emerging security trends.
- Collect and analyze OSINT and produce risk assessments, threat briefs, travel risk guidance, and executive summaries.
- Translate intelligence into actionable guidance for crisis management, emergency response, business continuity, and operational security.
- Brief security leadership and cross-functional partners, including Legal, People, Compliance, DnR, and SecEng.
- Coordinate with intelligence providers, industry peers, law enforcement, and government partners while maintaining quality controls and documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in intelligence, security risk analysis, threat assessment, or a related discipline.
- Experience investigating threats and producing finished all-source intelligence in a corporate, government, military, or global security environment.
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field such as security studies, international relations, political science, intelligence, psychology, or criminology.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, briefing, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent strategic tasks and live incidents under tight deadlines with limited supervision.
- Comfort with a flexible schedule and periodic after-hours availability during crises and elevated threat environments.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree in intelligence studies, international affairs, security studies, public policy, or a related field.
- CTM certification.
- Experience with global operations, international travel risk, crisis management, intelligence tools, OSINT platforms, or structured analytic frameworks.
- Experience in highly regulated or high-risk industries, high-growth technology companies, or startups.
- Specialized knowledge of risks unique to the AI sector.
