Sr Manager - New Glenn Manufacturing Business Operations (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Establish and lead the New Glenn Manufacturing Business Operations team.
• Manage space utilization across Rocket Park and coordinate facility and process transitions.
• Establish capacity monitoring and forecasting processes as manufacturing volume scales.
• Lead large-scale capacity expansion projects, managing schedules, budgets, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Develop operational metrics, business reviews, risk assessments, contingency plans, and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with New Glenn leadership and stakeholders across strategy, technology, manufacturing, finance, and business operations to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, operations, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, project management, operations, or finance.
• Experience leading and managing high-performing teams and large-scale enterprise programs with measurable operational impact.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Confluence.
• Advanced presentation, communication, and visualization skills, with the ability to explain complex program risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee under export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or PMP certification.
• Experience scaling manufacturing, test, or logistics operations.
• Experience developing simulated and calculated capacity models in complex stand-up environments.
