Finance Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY (On-site)

Salary: $245,000 – $303,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Build the financial infrastructure from the ground up, including NetSuite, Zip, Shareworks, and Pigment.
• Own the full financial stack from vendor invoice to cap table.
• Manage monthly and quarterly closes and prepare financial statements for the board, auditors, and investors.
• Develop technical accounting positions for revenue recognition, leases, and capitalization.
• Run external audits and maintain clean financial records during rapid business scaling.
• Optimize the close cycle to improve speed and control without increasing headcount.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning the financial close process and producing audit-ready financial statements.
• Experience building technical accounting positions from scratch and defending them to auditors.
• Demonstrated success in migrating or standing up a reporting stack (ERP, close, and reporting tools).
• Ability to write clear accounting memos for non-accountant executives.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco or New York.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Big Four experience or background in high-growth infrastructure/hardware accounting.
• Experience with data center, energy, or capital-intensive business models.
• Implementation experience with NetSuite, Pigment, or similar stacks.
• Experience with IPO-readiness or public-company reporting.
