Data Collections Manager (Data Collection)

Location: Arlington, VA; hybrid workplace

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of data collection activities across assigned projects.
• Identify and pursue new data collection opportunities within Combatant Commands and Service Components.
• Manage and mentor multidisciplinary staff responsible for data entry, review, and validation.
• Establish data collection procedures, schedules, documentation, and quality standards.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews, resolve data gaps and inconsistencies, and improve collection efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers, technical analysts, and government stakeholders while reporting progress to project and client leadership.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret with SCI security clearance.
• 10+ years of professional leadership experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in national security, defense, military services, intelligence, or law enforcement.
• Experience with proposal development, including preparation, analysis, writing, and review.
• Experience managing data collection, research, or field operations in complex environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience leading distributed teams and engaging senior federal government clients.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience developing SOPs or formal data collection protocols.
• Familiarity with data visualization, reporting, or GIS tools.
• Experience supporting technical, scientific, or research-oriented government projects.
• Advanced knowledge of data quality control and analytical methodologies.
