Global Head of External Data Vendor Management

Location: Hybrid; at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

Salary: $163,000–$221,000 base salary annually, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing external data and expert vendors.
• Identify and maximize the value of vendor data sources to improve consulting services and client insights.
• Lead initiatives integrating emerging technologies and AI into data management and analytics.
• Analyze spending and vendor performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and establish vendor ROI metrics.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team while fostering collaboration and continuous development.
• Engage senior stakeholders and represent Oliver Wyman in external forums.

Requirements

• Proven experience in external data vendor management, vendor management, and strategic planning.
• Experience in consulting or professional services is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and building collaborative work environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
