Economic Empowerment Project Lead

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Compensation: 10,900–11,300 PLN per month

What you will do

• Manage the full project lifecycle across the Economic Empowerment program portfolio.
• Identify, select, negotiate with, and oversee implementing partners, including management of sub-grants and sub-contracts.
• Coordinate day-to-day program delivery, work plans, procurement plans, spending plans, risks, and corrective actions.
• Oversee MEAL frameworks, logframes, indicators, data quality, evaluations, project reviews, and community feedback mechanisms.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, conduct Budget vs. Actuals reviews, manage reallocations and modifications, and review partner financial reports.
• Report progress to the Head of Program and support donor proposals, fundraising, and grant reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in project management, social sciences, international development, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of project management experience in the humanitarian, development, or related sector, including partnership management.
• Experience managing project budgets and designing or implementing MEAL systems.
• Strong analytical, data management, reporting, communication, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
• Strong understanding of the migration, asylum, and refugee context in Poland and the local public institution and civil society landscape.
• Fluency in Polish and a strong command of spoken and written English are required.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Experience with economic empowerment, vocational training, entrepreneurship support, employer engagement, or labor market activation.
• Experience working with refugee or migrant populations.
• Experience contributing to donor proposals, fundraising, and budget development for new grants.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
