What you will do

• Guide strategic customers through cloud transformations for large-scale data warehousing workloads, from evaluation and architecture design to production deployment.
• Architect production workloads and conduct end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization.
• Develop expertise in data warehousing evaluations and workload migration planning.
• Support Solution Architects with proof-of-concept content, workload sizing, performance estimation, and production tuning.
• Provide technical tutorials and training through community programs, hackathons, and conference presentations.
• Contribute to the Databricks Community.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technical role with data warehousing expertise, including query tuning, performance tuning, troubleshooting, governance, debugging MPP warehouses, or migration workloads.
• Experience designing and implementing relational databases, SQL, data analytics, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP technologies.
• Production programming experience with SQL and Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and large-scale cloud analytical workloads.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with data warehousing or big data technologies and 2 years of customer-facing pre-sales or post-sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience; ability to meet technical training and role-specific expectations within 6 months.
