Energy Infrastructure Manager (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $274,000 – $357,000 per year

What you will do

• Own commercial relationships with utilities, energy suppliers, and market operators across active US data center markets.
• Negotiate retail power agreements, PPAs, and behind-the-meter offtake deals.
• Participate in regulatory and rate-making processes to shape energy supply outcomes.
• Partner with site acquisition, legal, and engineering teams to assess energy requirements and structure commercial arrangements.
• Quarterback energy workstreams across design, construction, finance, and operations.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization
• Proven experience managing large-load interconnection processes from application to executed agreement.
• Deep understanding of utility tariff filings, rate schedules, and service agreements.
• Ability to build and maintain working-level relationships with utility project managers and engineers.
• Experience quarterbacking cross-functional teams including development, legal, and finance.
• Precision in documenting project status and identifying schedule or cost risks.

Nice to have

• Direct experience across multiple ISO/RTO markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, WECC).
• Background at a utility, ISO, or energy developer.
• Familiarity with substation design, service entrance requirements, or transmission cost allocation studies.
• International utility experience in UK or EU markets.
