Software Engineer (Delphi & Firebird)

Salary: $53,580–$122,400 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications built with Delphi.
• Develop and optimize Firebird database solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and schemas.
• Analyze application architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to gather and refine requirements.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 8 years of hands-on Delphi and Object Pascal development experience.
• Strong experience with Delphi VCL and/or FMX frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Firebird Database.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies.
