What you will do

• Own the technical direction for facilities production engineering, bridging the software and physical plant layers.
• Architect telemetry pipelines integrating BMS and EPMS data into operator tooling.
• Establish technical standards for controls integrations to ensure site-wide data consistency.
• Lead complex debugging efforts across the OT/IT boundary to resolve system disagreements.
• Drive infrastructure development at a massive scale, rethinking traditional operational playbooks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco, Austin, New York, or Seattle.
• Proven experience as a senior technical voice on facilities or industrial software systems.
• Deep expertise in integrating OT systems (BMS, EPMS, SCADA) with modern data stacks.
• Ability to debug across the OT/IT boundary with high precision.
• Demonstrated success in making architecture decisions that survive scale.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center controls and time-series platforms.
• Familiarity with OPC-UA, BACnet, and Modbus protocols.
• Knowledge of control system security.
