Senior Systems Engineer (Hardware Validation)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $261,000 – $340,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for compute qualification, including methods, tooling, and hardware standards.
• Own the most challenging qualifications, including first silicon, new platforms, and unexplained failures.
• Build test harnesses and data pipelines to multiply lab throughput.
• Act as the technical voice representing the lab to vendors and the fleet.
• Mentor engineers on debugging and systems engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Senior technical experience in hardware validation or systems engineering.
• Proven track record of qualifying early hardware, engineering samples, or first-run systems.
• Experience building test automation tools used by others.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex hardware failures.
• Must be able to work on-site in Austin, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle.

• Depth in accelerator architecture.
