Community Relations Manager (Infrastructure)

Salary

Salary: $215,000 – $261,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Shape policy and regulations affecting power, land, and permitting to enable infrastructure projects.
• Represent hirify.global at town halls, public hearings, and planning commissions as the primary external face.
• Build and maintain relationships with elected officials, regulators, utilities, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate political and reputational risks before they become blockers.
• Deploy community benefit programs including local hiring, educational partnerships, and grants.
• Manage external partners such as lobbyists, consultants, and PR agencies across multiple site campaigns.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable with sustained on-site presence at active infrastructure sites.
• Experience as the external face for large infrastructure projects, managing opposition and building coalitions.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder maps with competing interests.
• Strong political risk identification and mitigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience managing lobbyists, PR firms, or political consultants.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or AI data center development.
• Knowledge of energy procurement or grid interconnection communications.
• Background in sustainability or environmental permitting narratives.
