Purchasing Agent

What you will do

• Review and validate purchase requisitions and approval workflows for indirect goods, services, and CAPEX purchases across multiple sites.
• Create, process, and expedite purchase orders to support on-time delivery and continuity of supply.
• Ensure purchase orders and contracts align with approved suppliers, procurement policies, and current guidelines.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify delivery or service issues, and collaborate with Strategic Buyers and Category Managers on resolution.
• Promote approved procurement channels, including Ariba e-catalogues and automated purchasing solutions, to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Provide first-line support for procurement inquiries, including Accounts Payable and Ariba helpdesk requests, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or a related supply chain function.
• Advanced knowledge of procurement processes, including purchase orders, requisitions, supplier contracts, and approval workflows.
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems, including Ariba; SAP or similar purchasing platforms are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Business-fluent English communication skills for supporting internal and external stakeholders.
