Senior Java Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions across Agile teams.
• Build secure, fault-tolerant, cloud-based services and platforms for customer financial experiences.
• Develop event-driven systems for asynchronous communication between services and components.
• Use Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Design solutions using relational and NoSQL databases, container orchestration, and distributed-service observability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, support recruiting, and promote Agile practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 5+ years of experience in a technical discipline.
• Intermediate to advanced programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience delivering Kubernetes-based microservices on AWS in a regulated or compliance-sensitive environment.
• Strong proficiency developing scalable and resilient REST microservices APIs.
• Experience with test-driven development, object-oriented design, design patterns, version control, code reviews, and responsive web application testing.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SOX, PCI-DSS, or GDPR compliance frameworks.
• Experience with AI coding assistants.
• AWS certifications such as Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
