What you will do
- Lead the development and maintenance of scalable Java applications supporting product offerings.
- Design, implement, and enhance complex features with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Conduct code reviews and establish software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues to improve performance and reliability.
- Follow industry trends and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of professional Java development experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
- Experience with Git, Maven, relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal, are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with React or Angular and modern web development practices.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven, microservices, or hexagonal architectures.
- Experience in Scrum or Agile environments.
- Expertise in DevOps and continuous delivery or deployment.
