What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable Java applications supporting product offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex features.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Conduct code reviews and establish software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in Java development.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency with Git, Maven, and both relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong English communication skills and residency in Madrid.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Angular front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven, and Hexagonal Architectures.
• Experience working in Scrum / Agile environments.
• Expertise in DevOps and Continuous Delivery / Deployment (CI/CD).
