Infrastructure Engineer (Azure)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must reside in one of the listed U.S. states and work from the contiguous United States.

Salary: $120,600–$135,900 USD annually

What you will do

• Implement Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and cloud services based on defined architecture.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment.
• Configure networking, hybrid connectivity, DNS, environment provisioning, and application onboarding across Azure environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues while applying governance, tagging, policy, and cost controls.
• Collaborate with architects, security engineers, and stakeholders; mentor engineers and participate in on-call and hiring activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working with Azure cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Experience with virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, DNS, load balancing, Azure API Management, and event-driven architecture using Azure Event Hubs.
• Experience with API security, rate limiting, monitoring, auditing, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required, and work authorization must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. Government background checks or security clearance may be required.
