Full Stack Engineer – PHP + React (Contract)

Location: Cyberjaya, Malaysia; hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely each week

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate customer-facing and internal platforms, APIs, services, and data solutions.
• Develop primarily within the PHP and MySQL ecosystem and AWS Cloud environment.
• Build data-sharing solutions supporting Australia's Consumer Data Right framework and faster lending decisions.
• Improve access to trusted financial data and customer experiences for lenders, brokers, and fintechs.
• Help the team safely use GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable in line with AI governance standards.
• Communicate updates and resolutions to customers and partners while contributing to Agile delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of PHP application development and software design experience.
• 3+ years of experience with React and modern front-end development.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with Python, PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter, AWS, Linux, and Nginx.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer, plus secure software development and PCI/ISO/SOC compliance practices.
