Purchasing Specialist (Defense Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Manage procurement of materials, components, and services for manufacturing operations.
• Create, track, and manage purchase orders to maintain timely delivery and supply continuity.
• Coordinate with suppliers on orders, lead times, delivery schedules, performance, and potential shortages.
• Support supplier selection, onboarding, qualification, and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with material planning, production, logistics, quality, engineering, and global supply chain teams.
• Maintain procurement data and documentation in ERP systems while supporting inventory optimization and process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, economics, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain operations, or material management.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchase order administration.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Professional fluency in English and Romanian is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or other industrial environments.
