Quantitative Consultant (Finance)

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts or Boston, Massachusetts

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Produce and enhance recurring reports covering cash flows, liability duration, and competitor insights.
• Support rate setting, renewal analysis, and Market Value Adjustment calculations.
• Monitor market-to-book metrics, trades, and flows to identify risk trends.
• Run, update, and validate analytical models with senior team members.
• Aggregate and validate data while improving processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of data analysis experience.
• 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, including pivot tables and existing macros.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and collaborate effectively across teams.
