Platform Professional Services Principal Consultant, Cloud (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote, TX; travel up to 25% of the time may be required.

Salary: $140,000–$195,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

Cybersecurity company providing the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform for protecting modern organizations and processing large-scale security events.

What you will do

• Plan, deploy, configure, optimize, and support the Falcon Cloud Security platform and related applications.
• Implement and troubleshoot cloud security solutions across small and large enterprise customer environments.
• Modify and develop deployment scripts using Bash, PowerShell, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Python.
• Guide deployments across ECS Fargate, Google Cloud Run, Kubernetes clusters, AWS accounts, GCP projects, and Azure tenants.
• Integrate CrowdStrike with existing customer tools and support vulnerability, asset management, incident response, and compromise assessment activities.
• Mentor professional services staff, conduct training, and coordinate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, plus 5+ years of IT deployment or customer-environment experience.
• Extensive knowledge of at least one public cloud platform and cloud and container deployment technologies; AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications are expected.
• Strong CSPM knowledge and broad experience in cloud, computer, and network security.
• Expertise in Linux administration and CLI usage, with extensive Python scripting experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Customer-facing consulting, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, time management, and leadership skills, plus experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with OCI, EKS, AKS, GKE, ECS, OpenShift, Docker, Helm, and container registries.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and repository management practices.
• Cloud platform or DevOps certifications.
