CW - Manufacturing Technician II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; onsite cleanroom work

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and instructions to complete manufacturing tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, parts audits, defect inspections, and process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, and perform programming, repairs, or software installations when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work with required cleanroom personal protective equipment and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certification, or relevant training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
