Senior IT Project Manager (Financial Services Regulatory)

What you will do

• Manage complex IT projects from initiation and planning through delivery, completion, and closure.
• Lead regulatory-driven transformation initiatives and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and achieve project goals.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation measures, and manage budgets and resource allocation.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Maintain quality standards, improve project management processes, and present status reports and results to management.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of experience in IT project management, ideally in an international environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive IT project or program management experience in financial services and regulatory-driven initiatives.
• Experience managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder delivery environments and working with senior and C-level management.
• Strong understanding of banking platforms, such as hirify.global or comparable core banking systems.
• Full professional fluency in German; knowledge of Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
