What you will do
- Test and certify routers, switches, and other network hardware for performance, reliability, compliance, and interoperability.
- Develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Python, Ansible, Git, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
- Design, test, automate, and operate enterprise and cloud-native network infrastructures at scale.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments, CVE analysis, network risk evaluations, and rapid certification of patches, SMUs, and code releases.
- Develop testing strategies, engineering standards, configuration templates, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on product evaluations, proof-of-concept testing, platform guidance, and production support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and code or feature certification.
- CCIE- or CCNP-level experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
- Strong knowledge of IP routing, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM, Spanning Tree, and Layer 2 protocols.
- Proficiency in Python, Ansible playbooks, GitHub, Linux administration, networking, and automation.
- Experience with Kubernetes architecture, container networking, eBPF-based networking, and Cilium.
- Experience with Arista platforms and IXIA or Spirent testing tools, together with strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
