What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain full-stack web applications for DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center’s Knowledge and Data Management Branch.
• Build backend database artifacts, middle-tier services, business rules, and client-facing software.
• Deliver C# and Microsoft .NET solutions across legacy and current frameworks, including refactoring legacy code to newer versions.
• Develop web clients with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and related frameworks.
• Create version-controlled SQL scripts for database schema changes, data transformations, tables, indexes, functions, and stored procedures.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, security checks, application documentation, and collaboration with government and development teams.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I Certification.
• At least three years of experience developing full-stack web applications at an equivalent complexity and delivery level.
• Proficiency with C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, current .NET libraries, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and SQL database scripting.
• Ability to recommend design improvements, apply software development lifecycle practices, and produce reliable, tested, maintainable code.
• Excellent attention to detail and written and oral communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
