What you will do

• Lead infrastructure specialists across Unix, Windows, databases, networks, middleware, and Kubernetes, with accountability for performance and delivery outcomes.
• Manage capacity planning, workload allocation, resource utilisation, professional development, and delivery-focused team standards.
• Oversee infrastructure project delivery, change implementation, operational support, technical governance, design reviews, testing, cutover planning, and rollback procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, service owners, nearshore and offshore teams, and third-party vendors across multiple delivery workstreams.
• Report delivery status, risks, resource constraints, and critical issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Drive automation, standardisation, Infrastructure as Code, knowledge sharing, and measurable operational improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience delivering IT infrastructure projects or leading complex technical change initiatives in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in at least one infrastructure domain and solid understanding of Unix, Windows, databases, networks, middleware, and Kubernetes technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is mandatory, plus experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical project teams, managing stakeholders, and coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Experience with enterprise change management, testing, deployment planning, project governance, risk management, hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and DevOps practices.
• Fluent English and Italian are mandatory; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and relevant OCI, Azure, or AWS certifications are required.
