Credit Manager I (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Houston, TX; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What you will do

• Underwrite commercial real estate loans for creditworthiness and compliance with lending policies.
• Manage loan maturities and underwrite renewals, extensions, modifications, and annual review packages.
• Analyze and structure loan requests using commercial real estate underwriting standards.
• Prepare approval documents and written evaluations of borrowers, sponsors, and guarantors.
• Coordinate appraisals, environmental reports, property condition reports, and other third-party due diligence.
• Manage, review, mentor, and support the professional development of Credit Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Ability to analyze financial data and narrative information thoroughly and efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently without compromising quality.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of management or team leader experience.
• Formal commercial credit training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet resources.
• Experience providing customer service and working with sales and risk personnel.
