TL;DR
Director of FP&A (SaaS): Leading the FP&A function and owning group-wide reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance measurement, and business control across a multi-brand, multi-entity SaaS and hosting ecosystem with an accent on financial steering, stakeholder communication, and planning discipline. Focus on translating complex performance data into a coherent narrative for the CFO, Executive Committee, Board, shareholders, and lenders, while improving reporting and planning systems.
Location: Fully remote, with the role listed in Gent, Belgium; Lisboa, Portugal; Worcester, UK; or Copenhagen, Denmark

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four FP&A professionals while setting the function’s strategic agenda, resourcing, and succession plans.
- Own the group’s performance narrative and ensure accurate, consistent, and insightful reporting for the CFO, Executive Committee, Board, shareholders, and lenders.
- Lead the annual budgeting, multi-year strategic planning, rolling forecast, and latest-estimate processes across business units, central functions, and brands.
- Partner with the CFO and Executive Committee on resource allocation, investment, risk, and financial steering decisions.
- Own the central business control and performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, scorecards, OKRs, data integrity, and a single source of truth.
- Drive the roadmap for reporting and planning systems, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting and planning, or corporate finance, including several years in Head- or Director-level team leadership.
- Experience leading a complete FP&A function in a complex, multi-entity or multi-brand organisation.
- Direct experience presenting to and steering discussions with Boards, shareholders, and/or lenders.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
- Strong financial modelling, reporting, business control, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluency with planning platforms such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Nice to have
- Experience in a private-equity-backed, subscription, SaaS, hosting, or technology business.
- Track record of building and developing a high-performing finance team of five or more.
