AWS DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom

Salary: £39,000–£46,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for a high-availability healthcare marketplace.
• Develop and support serverless architectures using AWS services.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads with Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
• Contribute to cloud architecture, security, resilience, observability, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as an AWS Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Experience designing and managing AWS cloud environments and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Strong experience with serverless architecture and AWS serverless services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform or CloudFormation, plus CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or a consultancy environment.
