Construction Contracts Manager (Data Center)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX

Salary: $200,000 – $238,000

What you will do

• Negotiate and close EPC, design-build, and GMP contracts for multi-hundred-megawatt data center builds.
• Develop contract templates and playbooks to standardize deal structures across concurrent project sites.
• Manage change orders and claims from initial notice to resolution to protect project schedules and budgets.
• Structure subcontractor and vendor agreements to lock in pricing and lead times.
• Coordinate across legal, finance, procurement, and field delivery teams to expedite contract execution.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Austin, TX.
• Proven experience negotiating and closing large construction contracts (EPC, design-build, GMP, or lump-sum) on capital projects.
• Ability to manage change orders and construction claims worth millions without stalling project schedules.
• Strong track record of building contract templates and playbooks for repeatable project delivery.
• Experience quarterbacking cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and field operations.
• Ability to track terms, exhibits, and amendments across a portfolio of concurrent projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center or mission-critical construction.
• Background in behind-the-meter or utility-scale power projects.
• Familiarity with modular or productized build delivery.
• Experience working with AHJs and permitting authorities.
