Cost Manager – Data Center (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; on-site

Salary: $155,000–$188,000 per year plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Manage construction cost controls and project controls across large-scale, hyperscale data center projects.
• Ensure financial and commercial activity complies with executed contracts, approved scope, and internal governance.
• Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including initiation, approvals, tracking, reconciliation, and closeout.
• Review invoices by validating quantities, rates, scope, contracts, and approved changes; resolve discrepancies and support timely payment.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready cost records and reliable actuals reporting.
• Partner with construction, project controls, finance, and vendor teams to maintain efficient commercial operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project controls and construction cost management.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or hyperscale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.
• Experience leading project controls or commercial cost management on complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract structures, project scope, and cost governance.
• Strong attention to detail, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
