Data Privacy Advisor

What you will do

• Provide advice on privacy-related queries and support responses across the organisation.
• Provide subject matter expertise on complex privacy consultations and higher-risk initiatives.
• Champion the Data Privacy Policy and supporting standards.
• Embed privacy-by-design principles into enterprise and information architecture considerations.
• Build collaborative relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Support privacy management tools, including OneTrust, and report control management information to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in data privacy, data protection principles, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of GDPR and UK data protection requirements.
• Experience with privacy risk assessment, governance, controls, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting privacy-by-design in business and technology environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, judgement, and risk escalation skills.
• Ability to interpret and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements.
