Senior IT Project Manager (Core Banking)

What you will do

• Manage IT projects from initiation and planning through completion and closure.
• Lead regulatory-driven transformation initiatives in the financial services sector.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and manage communication across stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage budgets, and plan resources.
• Ensure project governance, quality standards, and continuous process improvement.
• Prepare management status reports and present project results.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of experience in IT project management.
• Extensive IT project or program management experience in financial services.
• Experience with regulatory-driven initiatives, complex delivery environments, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of banking platforms such as hirify.global or similar core banking systems.
• Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies, governance, and risk management.
• Full professional fluency in German is required.
