Application Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Collaborate with team leads, product owners, business analysts, and developers to deliver software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable code aligned with architectural standards.
• Prepare solution designs, participate in code reviews, and document technical solutions.
• Build and maintain automated tests to support software quality and reliability.
• Participate in client workshops and requirements analysis sessions.
• Optimize existing functionality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development or a related engineering role.
• Programming proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or a similar language.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies and SQL.
• Experience with Git or a similar version control system.
• Experience working in agile environments and applying agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a commitment to code quality and testing.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Financial services or treasury domain experience.
• Knowledge of FIX, SWIFT MT, or ISO 20022.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and relevant platforms or tools.
• Additional programming languages, frameworks, or multilingual capabilities.
