Payment Risk Strategy Intern (Fintech)

What you will do

• Conduct fraud investigations to identify suspicious trends and resolve escalated issues.
• Balance payment risk decisions against customer impact when investigating cases.
• Track and monitor the performance of decision systems and risk models.
• Create clear visualizations, dashboards, and reports with support from the risk analytics team.
• Support risk-management initiatives and ad hoc projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, data science, or a related discipline.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Fluent English in listening and speaking.
• Results-oriented approach and ability to prioritize and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Creative approach to risk management and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with fraud-risk algorithms or modeling.
• Python skills for large-scale data analysis.
