Analyst/Senior Analyst, Financial Crime Compliance (Fintech)

What you will do

• Investigate transaction monitoring alerts, law-enforcement referrals, and cases escalated by the first line of defence.
• Prepare high-quality Suspicious Activity Reports and complete investigations in a timely manner.
• Review and discount name-screening and transaction-screening alerts.
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend improvements, and monitor control effectiveness through control sample testing and key control indicators.
• Conduct thematic reviews and qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify abnormal customer profiles and money-laundering or terrorist-financing patterns.
• Participate in UAT testing for FCC system enhancements and perform ad hoc duties supporting the FCC function.

Requirements

• University degree; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of anti-money laundering, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption requirements.
• General understanding of banking products and a strong interest in financial crime compliance within digital banking.
• Ability to exercise professional judgment independently and challenge the status quo.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of data analytics, Python, and SQL is advantageous.
