Payment Risk Strategy Intern (Global Payment-General Strategy) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Conduct fraud investigations to identify suspicious trends and resolve escalated issues from cross-functional teams.
• Assess risk against customer impact when investigating payment-related issues.
• Track and monitor the performance of payment decision systems and risk models.
• Create clear visualizations, dashboards, and reports with support from the risk analytics team.
• Support risk initiatives and ad hoc projects while working independently and with peers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Fluent English listening and speaking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Creative approach to identifying new risk-management methods.

Nice to have

• Experience with fraud-risk algorithms or modeling.
• Python skills for large-scale data analysis.
