Sr. Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications for the hirify.global Resolve Online program.
• Build Generative AI workflows, including retrieval pipelines, RAG systems, orchestration graphs, and agent-based architectures.
• Integrate AI components and agents with internal and external APIs, business systems, and data sources.
• Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable, and testable code while applying established architectural patterns.
• Develop automated unit and component tests, address defects and performance issues, and support production releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, Security, Architecture, and peer engineers in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience; master’s graduates require 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise-grade Java/J2EE applications.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, model limitations, data privacy, and responsible AI.
• Strong foundations in clean code, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, version control, release automation, debugging, and production support.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cline, AI-supported code review, test generation, documentation, or related productivity workflows.
• Experience in financial services, payments, dispute processing, or other high-volume, mission-critical enterprise platforms.
