TL;DR
Java Technical Lead (Java/AWS): Designing, implementing, testing, and delivering scalable client solutions across complex software engagements with an accent on technical leadership, architecture, and secure, high-quality code. Focus on removing delivery roadblocks, analyzing requirements, mentoring engineers, and driving projects from conceptualization to deployment.
Location: Czech Republic; remote workplace

What you will do
- Design, code, test, document, and deploy scalable, performant, secure client solutions in Java.
- Lead technical delivery across multiple internal and client teams, taking responsibility for solution quality and project outcomes.
- Participate in requirements analysis, planning, estimation, architecture, implementation, problem resolution, and technical documentation.
- Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders and present completed features.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, managers, and PDMs to identify user pain points, manage risks, and improve delivery processes.
- Support agile ceremonies, mentor engineers through Communities of Practice, and drive initiatives that create additional client value.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience and strong Java 8 or Java 11 expertise.
- Experience with JPA implementations such as Hibernate or EclipseLink, relational databases, web frameworks, and Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with JSF2 and willingness to work on UI tasks using JSF.
- Experience with Oracle DB, AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, Bootstrap, CSS3, and unit testing.
- Experience participating in architectural activities, leading technical initiatives, and helping teams remove delivery roadblocks.
- English is used daily for communication within the global team.
Nice to have
- Experience with jQuery, JBoss/WildFly, PrimeFaces, CloudFormation, Chef, or other automation tools.
