Senior Java Engineer (WildFly & AI)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria — Fully Remote

What you will do

• Design and implement new Java features and solutions aligned with evolving business requirements.
• Enhance existing Java applications and investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Use AI development tools to improve development speed and efficiency.
• Work with databases, messaging systems, application servers, containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams throughout solution delivery.
• Provide technical input to project and sales teams when needed.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with WildFly, JBoss, or other Java application servers.
• Solid experience with Hibernate, JPA, and other ORM technologies.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and other messaging or streaming technologies.
• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database, plus understanding of containers, virtual machines, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as AWS Kiro and good English communication skills.
