Senior Specialist, Process Improvement (Healthcare)

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week. Thursdays are required in-office days, with the other two office days flexible.

Salary: $75,348–$98,894.25 per year, plus benefits and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Identify risks, investigate issues and escalations, and develop technology-enabled process solutions.
• Coordinate projects and workflows to meet milestones and service levels.
• Support strategies that reduce costs, improve outcomes, and enable successful change management.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on implementation, communications, and risk mitigation programs.
• Analyze data and translate findings into clear insights, conclusions, and project priorities.
• Implement repeatable process improvement tools and techniques to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience supporting end-to-end project management and process improvement projects.
• At least 2 years of experience analyzing workflows, identifying process deficiencies, and developing recommendations.
• At least 2 years of experience in process improvement and workflow design.
• At least 2 years of experience presenting information and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience leading and collaborating with team members to reach agreement on decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with prior authorizations or insurance operations.
• Experience using JIRA, Linear, and Slack.
• Experience with ACA marketplaces, provider networks, claims, healthcare quality, or provider data.
• Training in Continuous Process Improvement or Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with large datasets, data verification, and data management.
