Senior Associate Scientist Chem - Analytical (R)

Location: Onsite in Groton, Connecticut, United States. Relocation support may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Annual base salary: $68,600–$114,300, plus eligibility for a 7.5% bonus target.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain PAT instrumentation, including NIR, FBRM instruments, and APC software.
• Prepare, install, calibrate, and perform checks on analytical instruments for GMP manufacturing campaigns.
• Monitor instrument output using process control software, real-time dashboards, and analytics.
• Author and maintain system lifecycle documentation, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Analyze and present data while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant laboratory, manufacturing, academic, or industrial research experience.
• Experience with project milestones, technology transfer, data, and submission-ready documentation.
• Problem-solving and analytical instrument troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Experience with PAT instrumentation, APC software, or data analysis in a GMP environment.
