Senior Technician (Medical Products)

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States; flexible workplace policy with a required minimum number of days onsite

Salary: $60,000–$82,500 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Perform research and development laboratory tasks, experiments, and testing for sustaining medical products and new product initiatives.
• Run test procedures, perform limited troubleshooting, and document system test results.
• Review and modify test procedures when needed.
• Set up, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Collect data with engineers, compile observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Prepare experimental reports, summaries, and protocols while following laboratory documentation and records-control procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and tools, original data recording, and standard operating procedures.
• Basic science, mathematics, computer, and documentation-system skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GMP and GLP.
• Associate degree.
