Internal Tools Engineer (n8n/Retool)

Location: Remote from Georgia, Armenia, Bangkok, Da Nang, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, or Uzbekistan. Core collaboration hours are 12:00 to 19:00 Manila time (UTC+8). Relocation support to Manila is available, including flights, accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics.

What you will do

• Build and own the Frontline Employees Database supporting HR and operational processes for approximately 4,000 frontline employees.
• Develop employee and candidate profiles, access and account data, time-off information, shift planning, operational data, and related process improvements.
• Clarify business needs with HR, Operations, People Partners, and Support stakeholders and deliver practical MVP solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain automation and integration workflows in n8n.
• Develop PostgreSQL data structures and internal applications, forms, and interfaces in Retool.
• Integrate HiBob, Ashby, and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, Python, and JavaScript; test, troubleshoot, document, maintain, and support existing tools.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with n8n, Make, or another low-code automation platform.
• Confident SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with Retool or a similar internal application and form-building platform.
• Working knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, integration patterns, testing, debugging, and error handling.
• Proactive independent working style and good English for collaboration with international stakeholders.
