Trade Compliance Project Manager (Trade Compliance/Customs): Leading cross-functional and cross-region initiatives that strengthen trade compliance execution, improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support business growth with an accent on classification, origin, valuation, export controls, sanctions, and customs processes. Focus on managing end-to-end project delivery, supporting M&A assessments and integrations, developing trade systems, and driving audit readiness and continuous improvement.
Location: Galway, Ireland; Cardiff, UK; Reading, UK. Travel required approximately 20%, domestically and internationally.

What you will do
- Act as the primary liaison between Global Trade and business functions across the organization.
- Lead trade compliance projects from scoping and charter development through implementation, validation, and handoff.
- Coordinate classification, origin, valuation, export controls, sanctions, customs processes, and documentation activities.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, decisions, deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Support M&A trade compliance assessments, remediation planning, integration, audits, brokers, and external service providers.
- Develop trade systems and tools, optimize processes, and train stakeholders on compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of trade compliance, customs, or trade operations experience in a global environment.
- Strong project management experience delivering trade or customs implementations.
- Working knowledge of trade regulations, tariffs, preferential trade agreements, import/export policies, and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent English communication, analytical, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software; experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems.
